

I don't read a whole lot of cozy mysteries because all too often, I seem to figure out the mystery before the big reveal. Once the mystery in the story really got going, I will admit that I was hooked.

I tend to love to read about anything that falls into that category so I was more than ready for this little ghost story. What really caught my eye with this book was the paranormal aspect. I caught myself smiling a few times during the story and I just loved the fact that the main character, Verity, has a pet skunk. This book filled that order quite nicely. I decided to pick this book up because I was in the mood for a light, easy read. I ended up enjoying this story quite a bit. This review can also be found at Carole's Random Life.
